5 out of 5 stars Very Pleased   August 16, 2008

I am very pleased with this Product. This is the Third one I purchased. 1st a mens bike, I paid $100. extra in delivery from Norther Tool. Then another Mens- whent to Northern Store & Purchased to be deliverd to thier store/ saved on delivery charge. But the Best Deal was the womens Curry on Amazon.com they charged No tax and No Delivery, just a strait $389.
All the bikes work Fine. I read a few bad reviews. It appears some people have tried to unscrew the fromt break to adjust it enough to put the front tire on. Not Necessary! Just pull the whole break harnest out of its slot and back in after placing tire on. Also some in reviews could'nt get them started and sent them back. Try the on and off switch for left or right optional battery located underneith back rack.
We had one Nut come off on the Womens Pedel Arm, no problem, just tighten it back on. I dont like the fact that the Extra Battery can only be purchased through Curry at more than $140. tax/delivery. I found the same sealed batteries at a local battery store for $39. each and I'm going to replicate their harnesting shell out of wood/ luan & 1x3's routerd. Overall Very Pleased. They Ride Sweet. Peddle only on hills, they will last farther distance. God Bless, Michael Siemer, Chatt. TN

4 out of 5 stars Good product, beware of size tho   August 13, 2008

The bike was everything I had hoped for -- reasonable price, good design, sturdy, easy to put together. However, I am only 5 feet 4 inches and didn't think about the frame size. It was too big for me -- I was afraid that I'd take more falls getting used to an electric throttle and so the increased size felt too unsafe. I re-sold it on craigslist to a person 5'7".

I have had this Bike for one month now and it has made my life a lot easier......It is easy to use, fun and in my opinion very well made. I am a Quality Engineer by trade and quality is measured by what the customer values/wants.... Not cost or name.....This bike does what I want it to do....Point A to point B...at minimal cost. You can spend $2,000 for an electric bike....But Why? I had one problem....It came missing a box with pedaqls and some other small parts.......The maker Currie would not help me.....However, AMAZON was very fast in getting me a replacement Bike and now all is fine.....Can't beat the price and you can chose how much effort you want to put into the ride.

This bike is a lot fun to ride. I live in a hilly area so the battery is good for about 8 to 10 miles depending on how much I pedal. The bike has a lot of neat little features. This bike is a real deal!!
