We use this for walking the dog, we don't have sidewalks on our street and people drive very fast. We throw it on over the shoulder (like a crossing guard) and it works great, it fits adults and kids, much more effective than carrying a flashlight or wearing a wristband. You feel a bit geeky wearing it until a car swerves to miss you and you realize it just saved you a lot of pain.
