Amazon.com Product Description
Big, bold and masculine, the Invicta Quartz Pro Diver S2 is an affordable luxury watch with classically styled features. This precisely constructed timepiece for men features a solid stainless steel case that's 39.9mm wide (1.57 inches). It has a black face with Tritnite luminous hands and markers and a unidirectional black bezel with white numerals and markings. Other features include anti-reflective mineral crystal, date display at 3 o'clock, and water resistance to 200 meters. The highly polished stainless steel band has a fold over clasp with safety.

An automatic watch is a mechanical watch that is self-winding. the movement of your wrist and body causes the rotor--a weight attached to an automatic winding mechanism--to wind up the watch. This automatic watch has 21 jewels, which are ruby stones that the gears turn on to protect the metal parts from grinding together. An automatic watch needs no battery, but it will stop if now worn for over a day or if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time. If this happens, wind the crown ten times clockwise to start the watch and give it some reserve power.

1 out of 5 stars Didn't like   September 1, 2008

Since I bought, I have set the time more than 5 times and everytime after a day it changed its time.
Returned it back. As per Amazon, it is my fault and they have charged shipping to me.

5 out of 5 stars Good   August 27, 2008

If you are like me, you probably will read all of the reviews on this watch before you buy it. I can honestly say that you will get a decent watch for around $100.00 bucks. I own (2) of these and both of them average around 10 seconds fast per day. This is considered within a normal range for this watch. You are not buying a Rolex automatic or even a quartz watch for that matter. If you are trying to buy an inexpensive automatic that will keep time to that of a Rolex, or an Omega forget it. I will say that most people can live with 15+ or 15- seconds a day for an Invicta. That being the case, the Invicta 8926 watch is a fine looking timepiece that looks just as good as a Rolex automatic. Another thing that will be apparent is that the screw down crown is not that smooth. Again, you are buying an Invicta, not a Rolex, Omega, Breitling, or a Tag Heuer. You get the picture. What you will get is a very nice looking acceptable timepiece that keeps accurate time within the acceptable standards for this Japanese automatic movement. It is not a $2000 Swiss movement. If you want the Swiss Invicta movement, prepare to spend more money. To sum up, I am happy with my purchase of this watch and being realistic for around $100.00 bucks it is a good deal.

2 out of 5 stars MIne is slow by 2 minutes a day.   August 19, 2008

I agree with all the others who say the watch looks nice. I like the heft to it too and love that mechanical watch half second step. Its too bad the watch is slow by 2 minutes a day. Its at least consistent in its 2 min loss. I'll never buy another Invicta again though.

5 out of 5 stars great watch great price   August 18, 2008

I am a watch fanatic and actually this style watch is not one that catches my eye but I couldn't resist getting an automatic watch for such a low price. I have been wearing it ever since I got it. This is a great watch and I am happy with it. The style is growing on me and I do like that it is automatic. This is a great everyday watch.

This is a frustrating watch. I like its looks, and wear it a lot, but it's a speed demon. Have had it into an Invicta authorized repair place twice and it still gains a minute a day. I have a similar model in blue and gold (I like to change watches now and then) and it keeps perfect time. I really want to stop using battery watches -- I travel a lot and worry about one giving up the ghost -- and will have to keep looking.
