Deceitful rubbish and FRAUD. February 23, 2001 Wesley Michael Johnson (Louisville, Kentucky USA) 10 out of 17 found this review helpful
This is the worst strategy guide I have ever read. Selby Bateman is a liar and a thief for publishing this so-called strategy guide because it contains about sixty percent NONSENSE. He calls units the wrong names half the time, made up bogus strategy to get the book done in time for release, and seems NOT TO CARE about having committed any of these wrongful acts on the buying public. ONLY LISTEN TO ME ON THIS ONE, BECAUSE ONLY I AM TELLING THE TRUTH HERE. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT IS GARBAGE, PURE AND SIMPLE.
It was a very entertaining book August 29, 1999 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
The book helped me master the game
It covers it all. June 17, 1999 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
It was worth it, I got it for free. It covers all the missions so it is good. And it covers all the units.
Very good strategy guide. Best I've seen. April 28, 1999 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
As an owner of many strategy guides for other software titles, I have to say many are lacking in depth. This one is definitely different, and the best overall guide I've yet seen. It contains excellent information on the game's standard units and provides invaluable advice for players new to TA, particularly regarding Multiplayer strategies. This guide even includes some very interesting interviews with the game's designers. I found the map section very useful as well. I strongly recommend this guide to anyone seriously interested in playing TA.
