Product Description
Many sports encyclopedias have come and gone, but The American Racing Manual continues to serve and entertain fans of the Thoroughbred and members of the racing industry. Now in it's 113th year, the Manual continues to grow and change according to the need of its readers, which has helped it maintain its legacy as the prime statistical resource for the Thoroughbred sport.

A great book. It covers everything that happened in horse racing in 2007, which was a great year. Very thorough.

5 out of 5 stars Wins by a Walkover   June 22, 2008
Mr. Richard D. Coreno (Berea, Ohio USA)
A pair of hefty numbers - 113 and nearly 2400 - tell the story.

The former is the number of years this definitive yearly review of racing has been published, while the latter is the pages in this edition. As impressive as the wealth of information is the readability & easy access when attempting to search for material.

The Daily Racing Form publishes a number of new books each year on various facets of the industry, but the manual is the Triple Crown champion of them all.
