15 bucks for this tiny thing...? August 7, 2008 M. Randall (Allen Park, MI) Honestly this thing is pretty silly. Yeah, its pretty much a necessary purchase if you plan on making vblogs with the Mino or any other sort of video where you need it to be still... I'm not upset with the product. However, you will laugh when you how small this thing is. I think calling this a tripod is a bit misleading... Mini tripod is more like it. Its barely any taller then the mino itself. Never the less.. it does its job well and the bendy legs help with certain surfaces. The price is awful though. 15 dollars for this? There is a 3rd party version that is exactly the same for 3 dollars.. i'd say grab that one instead if you get the chance. This is a over-priced, small accessory that at least does it's job well.
Funny little tripod July 10, 2008 Richard K. Gray This thing is the best and weirdest looking thing imaginable. You can contort it into the most functional positions. The people wjo make it are so OCD that they even include matching feet to match the camer color that you have (so San Francisco!)
Works June 30, 2008 Thomas A. Gilbert (Seattle, WA USA) Works fine. I wish the legs were slightly more rigid (minus one star). Otherwise ok.
great and helpful gadget June 29, 2008 L. Steinberg (Rochester, NY) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The flip video is so small, it's sometimes difficult to keep still and let the subject move. This nifty little thing solves that problem, fits in a pocket, is indexpensive.... what else could you want?? (except maybe some velcro straps to attach it to a pole of other vertical stand... but, then, you can get some velcro, too!)
Nice tripod June 10, 2008 C. Caldwell (Cincinnati, Ohio) While I was buying the Flip camcorder, I saw the tripod and bought it on impulse. I'm pleased with it. It's just a tripod, and it might take a bit of bending and moving of the legs to get the camcorder to sit level on it, but it works nicely. And I guess the bendable legs are a feature; they may come in handy some day. The kids think the tripod looks cool.
