Derm Caps great for picky cats... November 12, 2008 T. Davies (In My Head, USA) I have 2 cats...1 is black and her dandruff/skin prob has been an ongoing battle for several years since moving to NY state. The bigger problem is...wait for it...she's a cat who hates fish, the hint of fish, the odor of fish. Sigh. br / br /So my vet and I have been trying every kind of supplement and finally...FINALLY...Derm Caps works. Whew! br / br /I bought the Economy pump bottle and add a 1/2 pump to some pureed chicken every other day. The fish odor is so low that the chicken masks it, and lo! Within 2 weeks I saw her flakes are down to nearly nothing. Pretty impressive, especially since it's turning cold and dry here. br / br /My black cat is no longer dandruffy grey! br / br /P.S. Pump is the way to go...easy to mask in food. My vet says it's on manufacturer back order at the moment (about $20 in the NYC area for the pump version). Grab it on Amazon at this price, it lasts quite a while and is effective.
Great for my dog's skin October 17, 2008 Katherine Runyon (Livermore California) I have an English Springer Spaniel. We got him when he was five, and he had skin problems all those five years. Our vet recommended this product. His skin problems cleared up. br / br /Our neighbor had a lab that had been shaved for surgery and had a spot where the hair did not grow back after 6 months. We gave them a bottle and by the time the bottle was empty his hair was growing back in the bald spot. It came back fully.
Derm Cap liquid July 25, 2008 Mary (Arlington, VA) We were using capsules and would just put it in our dog's food. He starting picking them out and we found them all over the house in tact. Then we started cutting open the capsule and put it on the food. The pump is so much easier!
Easy to use but a bit costly June 9, 2008 Norman's Mom (IL) Cost is a bit high for what the product contains, but the pump is nice for easy mixing with food, especially if your furry loved one is not to good about taking the gel tabs. br /If you don't start seeing results after the first bottle, try switching brands...different brands contain different ratios of Omega6 and Omega 3. The trick is finding the product with the ratio that works best for your dog.
Not really sure about this one March 10, 2007 kelli (ridgeland, sc) I was recommended this item from our vet. She did mention it would take atleast 6 weeks before you could tell a difference. br /I have not noticed too much change with our dogs coat and skin itching problem. It is winter right now though and our biggest problem seems to be the summer time. Maybe I will see a better result during that time.
