I have a mini dachshund (10 pounds) and 3 cats. I have found all of them using this bed. The cats don't seem to burrow, but of course, any dachshund lover KNOWS that their baby will burrow. So, I bought this primarily for my dachshund. GREAT choice! She is able to cover herself to the degree she wishes, from nothing to complete coverage. I could post a pic, but it would look just like the one posted by another dachshund owner. :-) br / br /Apart from keeping my baby warm, this bed serves a variety of functions. br / br /Great car seat: it keeps her warm, and if she's not feeling cold, elevates her enough to see out the windows without standing up. br / br /Visiting other homes: if placed on the floor in proximity to me, she will immediately go to the bed and snuggle contently for most of the visit. br / br /Great way to keep the hair off the floor and furniture! For whatever reason, the cats like to sit on a perch, so when I put this on the couch, the cats sit on it instead of the couch. This is a wonderful thing, if you have cats that shed and/or visitors with allergies. Instead of spending hours trying to get rid of the hair, just pick up the bed and remove to another room. br / br /For a mini dachshund or other burrower, I would give this 10 stars if I could! Love it! This would make a great gift to the dachshund lover in your life!

I purchased this bed for my daughters dacshound and she absolutly loved it at first sight, she jumped off the couch ran across the coffee table and into the bed. Great product, would recomend it to anyone with a small dog.

I bought this for a pet rabbit and he is absolutely in love with it. It is 5 times his size so he enjoys jumping in, getting lost and burrowing into the back. He also lays and sleeps on the bed comfortably. The bed is bigger than I thought it would be, but still is only suitable mostly for small pets (small to medium sized dogs would love this too). br / br /This is the best purchase I've made for the rabbit and he's definitely happy with it. Excellent value all around.

My Chawinnie loves this bed. We purchased another burrow bed for her so she could have one in the living room too. She loves to burrow, so this bed is perfect. Every night she burrows in and goes fast to sleep.

For dogs that like to burrow, this is the answer! My Min Pin loves this bed and it works for all weather situations; when it's warm she lays on top, when it's cold she burrows in under the cover that folds down over her like a blanket. This bed works better than the ones with the flexible pole that keeps the cover open because it allows true "burrowing dogs" to completely disappear from sight if they want to. I've washed the zippered cover (and even the stuffing sack) in my washing machine and then thrown both pieces in my dryer and they come out beautifully.
