Great product. Great customer service. October 9, 2008 J. Casler What a great little invention. I have had it for over a month now and still snicker to myself every time I roll it over and back. Ta-da, a little drawer full of poo! The real purpose of this review is about my recent dealings with Omega Paws Inc customer service dept. I contacted them through email and had an answer back within 15min. Extremely fast and very courteous. Free replacement part coming in the mail today even though I am the one who lost the part out of carelessness. Great company.
Better than any normal litter box October 9, 2008 D-Sauce I was tired of scooping litter every day, making more of a mess than the cats. This litter box is AMAZING. My hands don't even come near the litter. just pull out that side holder, and there it is. The only complaint I have, is the side locks that keep the top and bottom connected. If they were latches, that would be much better. The "push tabs" on it now have to lock in to place in order to keep the top on. However, if they don't line up perfectly, then the top isn't attached, meaning you can't flip it over to get the litter in the scoop, because the top will fall off. And after messing with it for 5 minutes, my finger tips hurt. The inside is kind of small, compared to other litter boxes.
Works great! October 9, 2008 L. Conner What a great invention. So easy to keep clean. A plastic grocery bag just fits over the drawer, making cleanup even easier. My only complaint is that the clamps that secure the lid unlock easily. It's still better than scooping. I highly recommend!
Best I've Found! October 5, 2008 Jennifer Mason (Dillsburg, PA USA) I'll just keep this short and sweet -- I love this litter box because it is so EASY to clean. I have five cats that use three of these litter boxes. I used to let the old litter boxes go a few days before cleaning them (because it was such a smelly hassle), but I would have to completely change the litter. Now, because cleaning the rolling box is so easy, I can clean them daily. Cleaning all three boxes takes me FIVE MINUTES! And now my litter lasts longer because I'm cleaning the boxes daily! I highly recommend these roll-and-clean litter boxes for *all* cat owners.
Best Ever Litter Box! October 4, 2008 J Tabs (Honolulu, HI USA) This is the most simple and clean litter box I have ever bought! I tried so many different types (some were VERY expensive) but this one is simply the BEST! I left the old one out just in case my cat needs time to get use to the new one, but he used it right away and totally ignored the old one! It is very simple to use and no expensive parts to buy. I use "Scoop Away" (doesn't leak) and the sifter thoroughly cleans out the clumps so I now use less sand and save money on sand! Since my cat's mess is contained in the pull-out drawer, you don't smell the poop! Make sure that the parts are put together properly (in my case, there was a little bit of plastic still stuck in the hole where the latches slides into so I cut it off so that the latch latches on more tight, and slides in more smoothly). In my cat's case, he's a big 14 pound cat with big derriere, which leads to big clumps so I tilt the litterbox abit more then on its side to be sure the clumps falls into the pull out drawer (you can hear the clumps thump into the drawer). WOW, this thing is really really good and I recommend it to all cat owners who wants simple, clean, and economical litterbox!
