great for after storm October 4, 2008 hwh (baton rouge la.) I had wanted a wagon to use around the yard .I was about to buy a Radio Flyer when I saw this one, it is much better than a kids wagon and has been great for clean up after Gustav hit here.It is very sturdy and just the right size.
Good Deal September 16, 2008 B. Halle (South Jersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cart is great for small to medium loads pulled by a small to medium person. (Bottom line, if you're six feet tall and weigh 250 pounds, you'll look like a fool pulling this little guy around.) I've spent the summer hauling dirt and rocks from the driveway to the back yard. The cart dumps easily. It took some time but my husband said it was no problem to put together. I can't imagine how you would get 600 pounds of anything in such a small cart so that claim seems exaggerated but it's sturdy and MUCH easier to use than a wheelbarrow.
Surprise! It's heavy & smells toxic! September 6, 2008 Laurel Pen (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this cart, and developed a headache assembling it inside. The plastic gives off a strong smell, which is not discernable outside (thank goodness). Everything about this cart is heavy, so if you have any hills or bumpy landscape to navigate, you'd better be strong. In addition, it holds very little for its weight. When you want to dump it, you will have to tip the whole cart to get everything out... because it doesn't quite get the last 15% of material. The handle won't stay up (reachable) if the cart is not on level ground, so I find myself having to grab the handle off the ground most of the time. As you might guess, I was disappointed.
Good purchase! August 30, 2008 M. Smith (Sacramento, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my elderly father. It's very easy for him to pull and dump yard clippings.
Gorilla Garden Cart - great for the money August 30, 2008 j-mo (Connecticut) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just received the Gorilla Garden Cart - for the money its a great buy. It definitely looks bigger in the pics - but it is adequate for our needs around the yard. The undercarriage is very solid - the pneumatic tires very nice. Cart went together in about 40 minutes - i followed other reviewers' advice and put large washers under the bolts inside the cart for added stability. I wish the plastic tub was heavier gauge also. The dump feature is great - but I especially like the fact that the pull handle can convert to a tractor hitch. I doubt I'd trust 600lbs in the cart - but for hauling shrub clippings, plants, etc - it will be a great replacement for our old beat-out unstable wheel barrow. After lengthy searching on the 'net, the Gorilla Garden cart from Amazon.com (thanks as always for the free shipping!!!) was the best choice without going crazy on credit card.
