We gave a set of four of these to my brother for his wedding last July and now, less than a year later, they are all warping, splitting at the seams and basically falling apart. br / br /I used to associate Brookstones with high quality and while they looked great when they first arrived, they are very poorly constructed. br / br /Brookstones further has not been helpful at resolving this issue and I would not buy anything from them again.

We kept this storage box outside for one winter in the Sierra with the cover on it. When I took the cover off in the spring it had completely fallen apart. The top was sprung and the sides were de-laminating. This is a very poorly made item.

If you are lucky enough to have this product arrive in one piece you will be very disappointed shortly after the rainy season. Our unit came damaged and then came apart within 6 months (literally). Amazon was good enough to get us a refund even though the merchant would not, so five stars for Amazon's resolution process. Zero stars for Brookstone both for customer service and poor product.

I have just received and easily assembled this nut brown colored hardwood bench from Brookstone. It is very well designed and constructed and most attractive. It has a generous amount of storage space, is quite durable and will accommodate several people sitting on top. It is made in Vietnam and offers a superb value for its high quality. I rate it most highly.

We keep our bench close to the spa and find it handy to store all sorts of things (extra towels, bottles of oil for the tiki lamps, etc.). It provides a handy spot to sit and put my sandals on after drying off. The wood matches our spa exterior and also the wooden towel stand, so it all looks harmonious. br /We don't keep the spa chemicals in there, since they need to be kept at a cooler temperature. br /It hasn't weathered at all, though we've had it four or five months already.
