1 out of 5 stars doesn't maintain programmed temperature   October 30, 2008

This thermostat looks great, but it doesn't maintain the programmed temperature. After several days I increased the programmed temperature just to get my house to be my desired temperature, but it still won't bring the temperature up high enough. Don't waste your money on this thermostat. I'm taking it back and getting another brand thermostat.

1 out of 5 stars Does not do what manual says it will regarding auto changeover   April 14, 2008

I bought this at Loewe's. Installed it and went online to download the 55 page manual. First, the programming requires a degree in thermodynamics, I guess. Jeez! COMPLICATED! Not remotely "intuitive". I wanted to replace my thermostat with one that would (for spring and fall) HEAT at night and AUTOMATICALLY switch over and cool by day. Well, the manual says it does this: you hit "system" and supposedly up comes (1) heat (2) cool (3) auto (4) off. Well, no. What comes up is (1) heat (2) cool (3) off. br / br /I took it back, and will buy another brand.

2 out of 5 stars Pros and Cons   October 30, 2007

Pros: br /Easy installation. br /Price. br /Backlight display. br /Front door battery access. br /Arm chair programming. br /Preset programming. br /Keylock. br /Easy override. br / br /Cons: br /Displays only current temperature. I am expecting both set and current temps like Honeywell. br /Filter monitor feature does not allow you to select 1 month or 3 months filter that you currently use. br /Hunter website lists "Daylight Savings key" as a feature but I don't see any note about this in the manual.
