I made the mistake of purchasing a German made watering wand known as a Gardena Gardena Deluxe Spray Wand #38108-6. br / br /The item broke, after a few days of very light use. Since the Gardena's moving parts were mostly made of plastic, the wand could not be repaired. I had to throw it away. br / br /I purchased on of these as a replacement. I wish I had purchased it in the first place. br / br /The Toro design involves strong metal parts in the functioning moving valve assembly, and grip. The Toro is more comfortable to use, and, because the parts that can break or malfunction are metal, instead of cheap plastic, you have a chance of being able to fix it without throwing it away.
