| Customer Reviews:
Nice Idea, poor quality October 13, 2008 J. Hill (Seattle, WA USA) I have purchased and installed the SST-900i, and was sold based on the simplicity of programming the unit. After programming and setting the clock and date (numerous times), I was pretty darn frustrated. The unit will not stay on very long, and it seems to be a short in the power circuit, which is making it reset to the default time and date every few minutes. It occasionally displays a blank screen which indicates the power problem. br / br /I have also called the Rainbird Tech Line, each time I call though, I just get placed on hold forever (8 minutes each time) and end up hanging up. Not what I would call good customer service at all. br / br /I plan on returning the unit for another one at this point, I may even switch brands to Orbit, but I don't know how much better theirs may or may not be.
Nine station rainbird auto sprinkler timer. August 20, 2008 Charlie Duncan (Midwest City, OK United States) This timer is great, easy to program but it needs a one buttion manual setting for all the stations to run instead of manually doing one station at a time.
One less thing to think about. July 30, 2008 D. Reid (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have diverse watering needs and the last timer was good but this one is the berries! Haven't seen yet how to designate specific hour/minute start time. Not a problem.
The simplest timer ever! TWO THUMBS UP! July 21, 2008 Christian (Santa Cruz, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a GREAT timer! br /The simplest to program ever! br /Build-in non-volatile RAM means you never loose your watering schedule when the power goes out and you do not rely on a battery that dies when you least expect it! br / br /Two thumbs up! br /
Works like a charm! May 19, 2008 J. Bates 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I replaced an old unit. The installation was quick and easy. The programming was straightforward and easy. So far it's been great!
