4 out of 5 stars Great product, but a word of warning!   October 23, 2008

The base is not hard to set up like a previous reviewer says. Sorry to disagree, but it's really not that tough to do. This is a great product, but one word of advice... When you go to take it in during the Winter months (if you're a Northerner, like me), MAKE SURE TO REMEMBER to take out the ground hooks BEFORE you lift up hard on the unit. br / br /I made that mistake. The ground was moist, so I thought that the hooks would easily pull out. WRONG! I broke two of the four footings going into the base and cracked the inner swivel ring. br / br /[...] br / br /Thanks!

5 out of 5 stars No Crank   May 10, 2008

Now this is a great product! We were skeptical about how well it would really work, but it works great! We think the swivel base of this particular model, and the weight and stability it adds, has a lot to do with the performance and ease of use.

I have had this unit for about 9 months now and can't see how reeling a hose in out could be any easier. I absolutely love it. Would highly recommend it. Easy to set up.

3 out of 5 stars Works as advertised, but...   September 29, 2007

a href="http://www.amazon.com/review/R8YKUZJ5J7L05"Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R8YKUZJ5J7L05/a I really liked this product, it works perfectly. I'm a little concerned about the wasted water used to rewind it. If you save the wasted water and use it for your potted plants it's a moot point. It supports a 100' host but based on the amount of water used to rewind 15' you are looking at 7 or 8 gallons of water. It was very easy to set up and install, took about 10 minutes to read instructions and actually install it.

1 out of 5 stars just forget this one!!   August 14, 2007

I actually returned this item--it was that bad!! to figure out how to put this together was a mystery. I had several neighbors, inc. a contractor, who said "forget this!!" I thought it was an answer to my arthritis in my hands, instead it was such a hassle!!
