Inexpensive and Well Constructed August 28, 2008 Bob A. Gabbert (Seattle, WA USA) Saw a similar umbrella on clearance sale at a discount house, but this one was less expensive even after paying delivery cost. Well made and easy to use. It has a cord you pull down to raise the umbrella rather than a hand crank as more expensive ones have, but it is easy to use, and practical. My wife and I live in a condo with common deck furniture. This umbrella is easy to carry and easy to put up, and afterwards is easy to carry back into our condo for storage.
Super Umbrella! August 18, 2008 Darrell J. Girouard II (Baton Rouge, LA) Looked locally for a nice umbrella and all I could find were ones costing $100 or more. Saw this on Amazon and descided to give it a try. Even with the shipping the price was great. I couldn't be happier with the product. Very well constructed with nice brass fittings, goes well with our set on the patio. Some of the parts are plastic not wood, but they look like wood and you can not tell unless you touch them and examine closely. Over all very satisfied with the product. Would highly recommend.
Great for the price! July 31, 2008 Jennifer L. Ford (St. Louis, MO) I got this because I purchased one at Linens and Things and the base cracked! I guess you get what you pay for. Not in the case of this umbrella. Good solid materials, packaged well. Able to assemble it with ease. Sturdy wooden base and water proof to boot. Great deal. Stinks to have to pay for the shipping, but you couldn't find one cheaper and with that good of quality.
Great product for the price! June 16, 2008 C. Houtz (Richmond, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great patio umbrella, especially for the price! I was looking for a thicker, canvas fabric which apparently isn't used as much anymore since I haven't been able to find it in the stores locally and this is exactly what I was looking for! The pully system is easy to use and quick too - for those windy times when you need to drop it quickly! You do have to 'wrap' the rope around the top to keep it from hanging down, but that's not a problem! Love it and hightly recommend it!
Good value June 9, 2008 Carol Dann (Kings Park,NY USA) The umbrella arrived on-time and was good value for the $40 I spent. Shipping was a little steep, but the umbrella was inexpensive to balance it out.
