You've seen them in restaurants and theaters--those tubes full of lights proprietors use to mark stair edges and other potential hazards that might be fallen down or tripped over in dim light. That's not to say that Good Earth Lighting's rope lighting products can only be used in public venues--you could use them as funky accent lighting in a living room, party lighting, or to outline a path in your backyard.pThe key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws.  Caution Label Scares Me November 26, 2008

I purchased this and after reading the caution label, it scared me too much - threw it in the trash since I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. br / br /There is a warning label to carefully wash your hands after touching/handling - since I purchased this for under-cabinet kitchen use, that scares me enough, I do not want it around my families food. The label doesn't say why, or what specifically the danger is; nor does it indicate if there is any offgassing from use since the lights get warm and could exacerbate the problem if it does. br / br /I'm not sure what's on there, but I'd call them first if you intend to use this around your kitchen, pets or children.

Just perfect. We used the 24 and 48 to run around the perimeter of the outside deck. Prevents anyone from walking off the deck.

These lights look great hung up around the inside edge of our new porch, we love the nice glow it gives off compared to a regular porch light.

Purchase process was easy. The product arrived in time. One of the 24 foot strings has a broken wire so about two feet does not light unless you twist and play with it. It is too small of an item to fool around trying to return, etc., so I just won't buy from that vendor again. I probably will not buy this type of product on line ever again. Live and learn.

I bought one of these 24-footers, it works great now but I was a little scared when I first put it up... One section of about 6-feet was blinking after I'd installed it along the ceiling crevice in my dining room, Eventually I got working ok just by repositioning it... but that's why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5.
