I already have a similar one (by a different 'manufacturer,' although it's pretty clear they all come out of the same factory), but w/o the SATA connector. The reason I chose this over a slightly cheaper model was for the convenience of having the SATA cable built right into the head, as both pictures clearly show; one less cable to carry around or lose. When I got the item, I discovered the head has a jack for SATA and a separate cable. Aside from that, the unit functions. Get the cheaper one.
