5 out of 5 stars Awesome Clarinet for Beginner   November 16, 2008
OCMom (Mission Viejo, CA United States)
I was extremely impressed with this clarinet. I ordered it for my 5th grader who had never picked up a musical instrument before. I had to help my son put it together the first time as it was a little tight, but by the time he went to his first lesson he was able to assemble it by himself. The very first time he tried to play it, he managed to make a beautiful sound. I can't tell you how impressed (and relieved) I was. I would highly recommend this clarinet. You can't beat the price nor the quality.

I am retired and purchased this instrument for myself as I always wanted to learn to play the Clarinet. Immediately upon unpacking the instrument I was impressed at the quality and workmanship of the instrument. I have played some basic tunes on it and find it easy to produce a good tone, the sound is nice. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality instrument. Also shipping was prompt and delivery was quick.

Bought this instrument for my grand-daughter as a Christmas present. Her old one was beyond repair. br /She was amazed at the ease of use, and the improvement in her playing. Being a second year student she felt that she was not progressing, now knows that it was her old instrument at fault, not her. br /Sound quality is great although she does not use the full range as of yet.

I got this instrument for my son, beginner 5-th grade student, it looks and sound good overall. The only problem is kind of hard, need force to put the parts together. I let it assembled for few weeks and this help, compressing the cork make it easy for him to assemble and take apart when need cleaning or transporting to school. Shipping was faster than expected!

Well, All I can say is this is a great clarinet for my daughter. It sounds great and is easy for beginner to intermediate students. Notes are easier to get then the bundy and the price is awesome. This purchase came with everything a student needs to start playing. My daughter is very happy with it and I don't kringe from her practicing due to squeeling that happened all the time with her Bundy.
