| Customer Reviews:
Wood-like tone, but louder October 24, 2008 New England Yankee (Northern New England) My low pitch jam block is used for clave when playing congas. It is mounted in LP's Gajate mounting bracket attached to a Drum Workshop pedal, and it can be played softly or really cut (especially if I turn the pedal striker to the hard face). LP's blocks are really well-designed and shaped. The plastic takes abuse, the sound is pleasing and, used with sticks, have great tonal range and dynamic range. I would take them over virtually any available alternative. Highly recommended.
