The Pirastro Gold Label e string is a nice neutral e string that matches well with many string sets. It is mostly used with the Dominant G, D, A because it has a wonderful ringing tone, and stronger than the Dominant E string. It also works with Evah Pirazzi G, D, A and is nice and clear without shrieking like the Evah Pirazzi e can do. br / br /By the way, it is a steel string, not a gold plated e-string. The "Gold Label" is a brand name.
