| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Jesse Cook began his amazing career on Narada, signing with the label in 1994. One year later, he released his debut album TEMPEST. The album quickly sold over 100,000 units in the U.S. alone and propelled the rumba flamenco guitarist into the limelight just as "world music" was gaining broader acceptance among mainstream audiences. His astounding chops, sultry rhythms, and undeniable stage flair combined to make Cook one of the stars of the genre. Since then, he has become an international phenomenon. He's reached rock-star status in his native Canada, his Juno-award winning albums have sold over 1 million units worldwide, and his live shows are legendary. THE ULTIMATE JESSE COOK captures all the fire of Cook's most popular hits from his 6 albums on two, specially-priced CDs.

Love all but one August 29, 2008 Mrs. N (SF, CA) Jesse is simply awesome. Can't really get too much of him, but for some reason I can't stand track 13 Toca Orilla. Must be me. This is a 2cd set so one bad song out of 26 isn't bad hey?
The best of the best Nuevo Flamenco artist August 1, 2008 Chamarith Thirteen dollars for almost 2 hours of Jesse Cook's music is an opportunity that you should not miss. If you are already a fan of his work you will be thrilled by this collection. If you are new to his work you should buy this to introduce yourself to this marvelous artist.
Good retrospective July 11, 2008 traveler (LaPorte, IN) If you are not familiar with mr. cook's music, this seems to be a good primer. I bought this with "frontiers" and am very happy with both!

Great Picken May 13, 2008 M. E Hennessy (Grand Forks, ND United States) I've never been too interested in classical guitar in the past. I heard a song of his a few times on XM jazz and decided to check the rest on line. I ownd two of his CD's now and they're both really good. A great change of pace from rock and regular jazz.
