5 out of 5 stars relaxing music   August 30, 2008
Bert Wren (sarasota, florida usa)
Jesse's new CD gives freshness to the Flamingo style of music along with great innovations using drums, clappers, bass and of course the great backup that comprises his band. Looking forward to the next CD.

This is one of my favorite cds. I play it at work every day and it just feels right each time. So glad I go it.

This was my first Jesse Cook, but I've since purchased all available. Played in chronological order, he continues to change and mature, but slowly. No surprises, but consistently good music. The spanish influence is obvious, but Toronto nightlife whispers in the repetitious themes with little or no variations. I disappear into the music of this unique talent and get lost.

5 out of 5 stars excellent   August 14, 2008

If you like Jesse Cook, you'll like this. He's not turning to routine, he's just one of the best in the music business. Very enjoyable.

5 out of 5 stars Best CD I've heard for a long time   August 8, 2008
Luana B. (Seattle, Wa.)

I heard Cafe Mocha on the radio and wanted the CD. It was all I hoped for and more. I like every song. The mood is Spanish and romantic! It takes me away to another place, a very good place! Jesse Cook is an amazing musician and composer. Take a chance, you won't be sorry.
