I purchased this magazine for my son and he absolutely loves it. He is constantly telling me about the articles he reads and how they are inspiring him to seek a degree in Veterinary Tech.

5 out of 5 stars Equus as needed as an apple-picker for horse owner   December 27, 2007
Eleanor Eagly (midwest)
Equus magazine provides quality information on horse health plus other equine related topics. I have subscribed for several years and purchased subscriptions for my daughter and a couple of horse owning friends. Each issue has valuable information. I file my read issues.

Equus has many helpful articles in regards to health, riding, and keeping horses. I ordered my subscription after being away from horses for a while and coming back into the world of things equine, to boost my knowledge base. A variety of topics good for all sorts of horsepeople to keep informed.

4 out of 5 stars good general horse care resource   September 16, 2005

I find this to contain less technical riding information, a wider appeal to both english and western disciplines, more emphasis on horse care. Good resource veterinary articles and lots of cutting edge information in the horse care world.
