As an avid bird dog owner, your better served with Gun Dog magazine....better writers and a superior product.

Everything from stories to "how to". Lots of tip, hints and training resources. A great magazine for owners of Brittanys, Springers and all other pointing dog breeds.

This is truly a wonderful journal. I enjoy every well written word and every photo, cover to cover. The articles are offered by top dog trainers, shooters, hunters and sometimes judges. It also comes with a companion magazine (2 issues a year I think) the Traveling Wingshooter which is different, but just as beautiful and informative...it will leave you wanting more.

After I got my GSP Vizsla I figured I'd subscribe to some magazines. I subscribed to Gun Dog Mag, Shooting Sportsman, and Pointing Dog Journal. Pointing Dog Journal is the only one I still subscribe to - it has great articles, great pictures, and overall is of a very high quality. I highly recommend it to any owner of one of the pointing breeds.
