4 out of 5 stars I Look Forward To Every Issue!   May 9, 2008
A Positive Guy (San Antonio, Texas United States)
This is a great magazine for nostalgia fans. Each magazine has advertisements from the 'good old days' including stories and photos and interesting articles about yesteryear. br / br /I could easily give this magazine five stars but the only thing I wish was that there were more of the advertisements and pictures and a few less stories. Otherwise, this is a great publication. For many, it will bring back great memories.

I guess there are no Mexican Americans or African Americans or Japanese or Chinese Americans who have any good memories, stories or photos to contribute to this magazine? No minorities are in the few I have viewed: The entire 2007 issues. Why? Guess the good ole days were all White?

5 out of 5 stars Warm fuzzies   July 11, 2007
Pool Enthusiast (I am on the front porch reading The New York Times.)
This is an amazing magazine. There are no ads, except for an occasional old one, for information purposes. For example, an ad witch is included in an article, like Bazooka or Double Bubble bubble gum. It covers the good old days. The articles are well written. The old photographs are priceless. A magazine well worth getting.

5 out of 5 stars great for seniors and boomers alike   April 25, 2007

I actually ordered this magazine for my grandmother who is in her 80's, but my mother and I love it also. It is essentially reader-driven content with lots of little stories from the past and some great photos too. They have a fun "identify this vehicle" photo every issue that allows people to submit a classic car/truck for consideration. It is definitely good, clean fun for all ages. The kids will like it if only to laugh at "old time" stuff that the parents and grandparents experienced.

This is a great magazine for those of us who grew up in the 30's and even on up into the 50's.
