This dual coffeemaker has two independent carafes, filter holders, water chambers, and water level indicators so you can simultaneously brew up to 10 large cups of each person's favorite blend. The DuoThek is also great for offering both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee at dinner parties or in a small office. p Krups's special Deep Brew System employs a unique filtering action to enrich the flavor of any ground beans, and a double-walled filter preserves coffee aroma and keeps brewing at the optimum temperature. The controls on this coffeemaker are few and completely idiot-proof. They consist of separate illuminated power switches for each side of the coffeemaker and a button that slows the brewing cycle down when brewing less than three cups (works on the left side of the coffeemaker only). Each of the thermal stainless-steel carafes is double insulated to keep beverages hot for hours and preserve flavor. The carafes include plastic screw-top lids for additional heat retention and have a spout that ensures drip-free pouring from any angle. Two double walled insulated stainless steel thermal carafes equip you to serve plenty of hot, fresh coffee at home or at the office. You can brew a pot of flavored or a pot of decaf, in addition to a pot of regular. Brewing options allow you to brew as little as one 5 cup pot and as much as two 20 cup pots. It's equipped with the Krups Deep Brew system which features a special filtering action for maximum flavor without bitterness. It als has a specially designed heating and tubing system which minimizes calcification and leaves no residual water in the system when brewing is complete.

Excellent product. I was targeting the duel coffe pot with a non-glass caraff and found the Krupps. It has stainless steel caraffs, which keeps coffee hot for hours. Coffee maker is easy to pour, no drips and easy to use and clean. Overall we are very happy with our choice and Amazon was able locate me the best price on the internet.

I used this coffee make and only one side worked. I did what the instructions asked and the right side will not make coffee. I have returned it to Zaccardi's but they said it was over 30 days and to return it to Krups, it was a gift so I couldn't really help it. Now I have to wait for them to return it to me. I just want a coffee maker that works. We have a regular coffee drinker and a de-caf drinker, I was so excited to find this gem.

This product is certainly not worth the money I paid for it. I am so sorry I never read the reviews. It does not keep the coffee warm, it has not brewing timer, nor does it have a shut-off timeer. For this price, it should have all of this but the worst of it is it does not keep the coffee warm. br /

We purchased this thinking it would be a great coffee maker and it is junk. The hoppers that hold the coffee don't pivot out from the maker they sit on top of the carafes. When you are making your coffee in the morning you have the two carafes, two hoppers, two bags of coffee and the grinder out at the same time. When the coffee is brewed you remove the carafe and hopper together and try to pour a cup of coffee holding the dripping hopper in one hand over the cup and pour out of the carafe at the same time. The hoppers don't have a drip stop feature. The carafes are open and have separate lids. I've had inexpensive makers that had drip stop, integral carafe lid and pivoting hoppers. I have not had the cold coffee problems other report. I was very disappointed in this piece of crap from France.
