Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
From the company that invented the Bundt pan, this durable nonstick cast aluminum pan turns out a majestic ridged cake with fine details. 10 Cup capacity

Amazon.com Review
Made of heavy cast aluminum for excellent heat conductivity, this ornately fluted pan is ideal for baking festive cakes. The pan's heat-reflective exterior ensures the cakes will be uniformly browned. It's also perfect for molding salads and chilled desserts. The interior is coated with durable nonstick to ensure fluting details remain when food is released and to provide for easy hand washing in soapy water. The pan measures 9 inches in diameter and holds 10 to 12 cups. Exceptionally durable, it carries a 20-year warranty against defects. I--Fred Brack/I

3 out of 5 stars Hard to clean   November 15, 2008

I own four Bundt pans, and this is my least favorite. Even though it has the same capacity as two of my other pans (10 cups), the cakes from this pan look smaller and more compact. The detail on the cake is lovely, but the pan is a pain in the neck to clean. The narrowness of the ridges trap cake crumb, Baker's Joy, non-stick spray, and flour - I have not been able to break the code of cleaning this pan easily. My other pans make just as pretty a cake, and do not leave me with any cleaning headaches.

5 out of 5 stars beautiful results   November 4, 2008

This pan will give you the most beautiful results. The cakes bake so evenly, with a lovely color. A cake made from scratch is the only way to go, br /mixes don't give you the right crumb. A chocolate cake, with a dusting of confectioner's sugar defining the grooves, makes an elegant presentation.

5 out of 5 stars Stylish Cake Creates a Sophisticated Appearance   October 1, 2008

Okay, I admit it, I own many different styles of these pans -- I am attracted to the various designs and high quality. Initially I was shocked at the price tag but as is often the case, you get what you pay for. Properly cared for, this pan will last a lifetime. The pan is particularly lovely because it has such a classic design. It is the perfect style to use for a cake soaked in liquor (obviously for adults). Recipes are readily available on the internet (check search engines) for making a syrup of melted sugar (when cool add coffee liquor, or rum or whatever...) poke holes in the cake with a bamboo skewer and brush with the syrup, let it soak in and repeat. These cakes are welcome during the holidays as gifts and spectacular additions to a party table. And, as some other reviewers have noted, pan preparation is so important. Spray Baker's Joy (plain cooking spray won't do) liberally in the pan to capture all details, then turn the pan upside down over paper towels to drain while you prepare the cake. Also, the thicker the cake batter the more detail you will achieve - so if using a cake mix alter it (many recipes are available on the internet in search engines - bundt recipe using cake mix, etc.) The cake detailing is just lovely. And, be sure to let the cake cool upright in the pan for 10 minutes before unmolding. Do not use any metal utensils or harsh scouring pads on the pan.

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous 10 cup pan!!!!   August 11, 2008

This is a marvelous pan. It arrived on saturday and I baked a cake in it on sunday. Came out perfectly. I love the heavy cast aluminum. The light colored non-stick interior gives the cake a lovely appearance. My only quibble is with the product description given by Amazon. It says this pan has a 10 to 12 cup capacity. When the pan arrived the packaging clearly stated it is a 10 cup pan. Lesson learned. Always check the manufacturers website for an accurate description before purchasing.

5 out of 5 stars Great pan   July 15, 2008

Well constructed, heavy pan, not flimsy like a lot of others out there. I've been very pleased with the results - even heat distribution results in an evenly golden brown crust for my bundt cakes. The pattern is so gorgeous that I often just leave the cake as-is, and don't even dust it with powdered sugar.
