Amazon.com Review Strikingly simple yet elegant in appearance, the Windsor chair is a quintessentially American design that dates from before the Revolutionary War. Hand-crafted from 100% solid select imported wood, the Carolina version of this classic is sure to become an heirloom you'll treasure for years to come. Turned legs and armrests, a gracefully curved back with slender spindles, and a solid, saddle-shaped seat are all hallmarks of the traditional Windsor style. This piece works equally well in a formal dining room, at a rustic farmhouse table, as a living room chair, or artfully displayed as a side table in a cottage bedroom. Its unadorned, versatile styling looks at home in a range of decors from colonial to country. Available in a variety of colors and finishes, this handsome chair measures 16-1/2 by 19 by 40-1/2 inches. I--Mary Park/I

Cottage Winds Chair November 4, 2008 F. Browning (Crown City, OH USA) Loved the distressed black color of the chair. This is not a heavy chair. It has small legs and wood work, but the seating area is very comfortable to sit in. Great chair for a desk.
Nice Chair July 3, 2007 A. Wright (Los Angeles, CA.) Unlike it's cousin the Carolina Desk this chair is well built and looks good. Unfortunately I had to return the chair as the desk was awful and therefor had no use for the chair, otherwise recommended.
Windor Chair March 13, 2006 wise shopper (Kentucky) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These chairs are of very good quality and construction. They compare to similar chairs purchased at three times the price for previously purchased items.
