Product Description Maxxima introduces the MLS-03 occupancy sensor light. The battery operated MLS-03 automatically turns itself on when motion is detected by the built in sensor and turns itself off 30 seconds after you leave the area. Dusk to dawn sensor prevents daylight activation. The MLS-01 also has the option of being left on at all times with its manual override switch. This is a perfect item to be kept in a closet, bathroom, or any space which requires lighting. With its occupancy sensor you can set the light to automatically go on when it detects motion at night. This model is an upgrade to our original model the MLS-01 which has 1 LED in it.

Occupancy Sendor LED light January 7, 2009 G. M. Bittenbender (Pennsylvania, USA) Give it three stars, but that was not working on the link. Good light, and works well.
very functional night light but perhaps a little too bright October 27, 2008 Living in Budapest (Budapest, Hungary (originally Ann Arbor, MI)) Last year I bought quite few Globe LED motion locker lights on Amazon. Like the Maxxima MLS-03 they have three LEDs. I switched to Maxxima for two reasons, quality and availability. Supply of Globe was very sporadic on Amazon while Maxxima always seems to be in stock. As for quality the Maxxima is superior in detecting motion and light. The Maxxima also has a much nicer form factor. My main issue with the Maxxima MLS-03 is the brightness. Even when placed at a lower level or not eye level this nightlight can be quite blinding to a passing glance. Unlike its cousin the MLS-01, the MLS-03 casing protecting the LEDs is not frosted. Also the inner housing of the light may even increase the brightness. For some people this additional brightness may not be an issue depending. Overall I like the MLS-03 and would recommend it for areas needing a bright night light. However I can also recommend the Maxxima MLS-01. It has only 1 LED and has a frosted window making it a little easier on the eyes.
Battery power for odd nook September 21, 2008 S. S. Prince (Adirondack Mtns, NY USA) Fills the bill well for a poorly lit stretch of stairs. It worked erratically with nearly-drained lithium photo AA batteries, but highly satisfactory with standard alkaline. I don't like using disposable batteries, so I hope it will work with rechargables. The sensor functions work well for my purposes. I put it against the wall at the top step or on a windowsill above the upper steps.
Cheap; Works great July 31, 2008 johnnycab (Chapel Hill, NC United States) I bought two of these and they are great. I will probably buy a couple more, because they are quite useful.
Does its job well. July 2, 2008 Joseph R. Kennedy (NJ, USA) I bought this so my Grandma could see to turn on the lights after waking up in the middle of the night. It avoided a lot of injuries. Her rate of nightly injury against walls, doors, and the dog all decreased. It kills batteries fast so get rechargable Ni-MH batteries if you buy this. It's as bright as a standard 2 C-cells flashlight with a less focused beam.
