Easy blend with no mess January 7, 2009 J. Stewart (IA) This is the handiest kitchen appliance I have. Blends soups right in the pot in just seconds. Cleaning up is a snap as the blending shaft is dishwasher safe. The only think I wish it had is a storage cap or cover of some sort for the blade, both to protect the blade and other things it might come in contact with.
The Blender January 6, 2009 redhooded (USA) Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my parents (they are always in the kitchen) they were thrilled so I can't for anything more from a product. I will edit post if anything goes wrong after a month. So far so good :) br /In the meantime I loved the handy gadget so much that I'm going to buy one.
Handsome little machine January 6, 2009 E. Tiernan I can't live without these things, they're so convenient. I only just bought this one so I've only tested it once making soup but it was smooth and easy to wash (in the dishwasher). The only con, which is a minor one, is that it's a bit noisier than my old Phillips (I live in Europe and bought this one for my mother).
Excellent value stick blender January 6, 2009 M. Abraham (Glenside, PA) This is a very good, simple immersion blender. Keep in mind the casing is plastic (although it looks like brushed stainless), however the blade portion is metal and removeable. Perfect for anyone who just needs a good blender without the fancy attachments.
Broke in less than 10 uses... December 29, 2008 Serra (CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Loved all cuisinart products except this one. I can't believe how cheap this one feels and behaved. Broke in less than 10 uses. br /
