This is a beautiful flag case. However, it was very poorly packaged and the first one arrived smashed in on two corners, broken glass, etc. Company was very nice and sent out a replacement by 3 day, but it also was damaged. The damage was slight this time, so I decided to use it rather than bother with it any more. Note to vendor: the little bit of cardboard folded around each corner of the flag case is totally insufficient to protect it, given UPS' brutal treatment of packages.

This item, as others have mentioned, is quite reasonable for it's price. However, the box indicates it was made in Vietnam - this might be a deal breaker for someone purchacing this item to display a Vietnam Veteran's burial flag in. br /

Just to reinforce the other review, this is a high quality, well made case. The joints are nice and tight and the finish on the wood is smooth br /and furniture quality. The real glass panel (not polycarbonate plastic br /like some others) is held in place with a fitted wood molding br /from the inside, a nice detail. The only minor issue is the plastic br /"dogs" that hold the fiberboard back panel in place, holds the case about br /1/8 inch from the wall. Not a big deal, but others may mount flush to the wall.

This was bought to place a memorial flag from a funeral. The flag fits beautifully inside, and it was easy to open from the back and get in. A fitting memorial to a wonderful WW II veteran.
