Very pleased with the cabinet. I was pretty skeptical, but definitely glad I decided to order it. Holds a lot of CD's in a pretty small space, and looks ver nice, instead of like a cd case holding 600+ cds.

Speed of shipping was fast.It is a very nice cabinet,good craftmanship except for a few things.The inner shelves are cut too short for a snug fit.There is a small gap on each end of the shelves which allows for a little too much movement.The plastic shelve supports do not fit tight into the holes drilled for them.They fall out too easily.The inner shelve supports should be made of metal and they should have a snug,press fit so they would stay in much better.If I had known this cabinet was made in China I would NOT have purchsed it..

Don't buy this prodcut. They are show to ship to you. The walnut finish is not walnut- it's more cherry. At it only holds 268 standard DVDs, not 298. The customer service people are rude and not helpful, and if you try and return this item, they charge a 10% restocking fee ($52), plus the original shipping, plus the return shipping. br / br /I understand if you just change your mind about a product that the restocking should apply, but if the item is misrepresented, that should be waived. br / br /Overall I am dissatisfied with the product and the service, so I would NOT recommend buying this or any other product from Spinkeeper.

Was extremely pleased with quality so I ordered a second one right away. Shipping for both cabinets was very fast. Had them at my door with a week of ordering with standard shipping. Packing of the cabinets was good. I could find no damage despite the obvious rough treatment of the carton. br / br /The item is listed as oak, but appears to be some type of eastern hardwood that is closer to a cherry as it appears in the first item picture. The second and third pictures appear to be actually oak which is different from my two cabinets - the wood and finish is a very good match for a medium stained cherry and most will assume it is a cherry. Appearance of wood finish is very good, not excellent - but very good. The alignment of the doors and general construction I would rate as excellent. I was somewhat concerned about quality of construction after reading the earlier reviews; but from my two samples it is obvious they have addressed any quality issues with earlier cabinets. I've had them fully loaded in service in the living room for close to a month and there is no sagging of the doors, scraping or any other issues. These are long-term keepers and I highly recommend them if you're looking for a nice dvd cabinet like this. br / br /Most importantly the wife gives them two thumbs up! Instead of messy exposed dvd shelves we have a nice piece of furniture with a couple of pictures and a lamp on top.

Performs as advertised, looks very nice in setting, could use better packing for shipment due to small dent acquired.
