The cabinet was very easy to put together and holds a lot of stuff. The company was great to work with, the first one I ordered was damaged in shipping and they promptly sent a replacement.

5 out of 5 stars Good answer to a messy problem, but...   November 30, 2004

Admit it...If you have been into computer and video games for any length of time, you have CD and DVD cases everywhere. I have bought media holders piecemeal and they look like who did it and ran. When I first saw a photo of this piece I thought: What an attractive piece of furniture. I wonder if it is that particle board with a a lacquer finish?? Well, I am here to tell you that this furniture is the real deal. It is real wood and it is pre-assembled and it is beautiful right out of the box. For those of you who are assembly phobic - you will actually have to screw the little feet on the bottom of the cabinet. Also, you will need to set up the shelves so that they suit your needs. Other than that - you can get away with a phillips head screwdriver (which you use once to remove the piece that holds the feet) and a knife to cut the strapping. EDIT: The downfall is that the doors MAY sag after a while if you fill them up with software. I keep a hair tie on the knobs to keep them shut. That is a disappointment but I don't know if others share the same experience. For the price, you really can't go wrong.
