I have a Totally Bamboo butcher block, and love it, but wanted something smaller and with a handle for fast 1-2 item cutting. This board is a GEM! For it's size, it has substantial weight. I just finishing dicing potatoes and onions on it with a Kyocera knife. Not a mark. Rinsed it immediately in hot water - no onion smell left on the board. I treated it before use with Emmetts Elixer. This will be an every day board! The only negative is that I wish the hole in the handle were larger for hanging - but very minor point!
