Emson Magic Bullet High Speed Blender Mixer System -B?Power Base with Stainless Steel Cross BladeFlat Blade / TallShort Bullet Cups / Shaker/Steamer Tops / Stay-Fresh Lids / Four Mugs with Colored Lip Rings / 100-Page Magic Bullet "10 Second Recipe Book"/BThe Magic Bullet replaces a food processor, blender, and coffee grinder. Yet it occupies only the space of a coffee mug. It stays handy on your countertop for instant meals and snacks. There are no buttons to push. Just load the ingredients into the short cup, the tall cup or one of the four mugs. Twist on the cross or flat blade, place the bullet on the power base, and press down - in seconds, you'll have chopped onions, minced garlic, grated cheese, spaghetti sauce, salsa, soup, chicken salad, smoothies, shakes and more. To heat or chill, simply place the Magic Bullet cup or mug in the microwave, refrigerator or freezer.

5 out of 5 stars Blending Bliss   December 3, 2008

Mind you this is a small blender that is best used for small tasks. It is great for smoothies. In fact, I just pulled it out of the box and made me a smoothie (yogurt, low fat milk, orange juice, fresh stawberries). My smoothy was great and I can not wait to make fresh sausa with it! I like it alot and plan on using it for iced coffee and smoothies primarily, but you never know what I might whip up with this little baby. The negative reviews are a bit harsh. I think anyone who buys this should read the booklet that comes with it and is very helpful.

1 out of 5 stars This blended in with all the other useless products   November 25, 2008

It's not as easy as it shows on TV. I tried to make a 6 second egg salad and it only mixed the bottom ingredients and left the clerey and onions almost intact. And yes I followed the step by step insturction. Very disappointed

4 out of 5 stars Over a year now and I love it!   November 21, 2008

No offense to all the negative reviewers, but I've had the bullet for over a year now and LOVE IT! I use it every morning (without fail) for smoothies and I've also used it for basic chopping. It's the easiest cleanup of any blender I've had. I don't use it to juice and I don't expect it to be a full-blown food processor - that's not what it was designed for. For the price, and what you get out of it in terms of speed and production, you can't beat it. I make a smoothie faster than my coffeemaker brews in the morning. br / br /Common sense dictates that you don't put the plastic parts on the bottom rack of the dishwasher (hello!?) - I've put mine in the top rack of the dishwasher and the only thing I had to do was readjust the wring seal around the base, but that only takes a second. AND, the product came with extra wring seals in case I have to replace one. br / br /Honestly, this product has become part of my weight loss, return to health daily program. And it has such a small footprint on my countertop I barely notice it. I'm ordering two more for Christmas gifts. Gave it a 4 because it's not a perfect appliance, and on some things it didn't chop as well as expected, but that doesn't bother me a bit.

4 out of 5 stars Useful, but not a blender.   November 11, 2008

I got this as a wedding gift, it sat in the box for the first year. It is very useful as several people have mentioned for smoothies and things of that nature. I've used it to grind spices as well and did a very good job. I don't give this product 5 stars because well, it's not a blender - I don't want to make individual margaritas if I have friends over or make the same smoothie three times so that everyone can have one. I am not sure if they make an attachement that would allow for larger batches to be made but that would take this review from 4 stars to 5.

3 out of 5 stars Magic Bullet   November 11, 2008

I love the unit for its convience, but it would have been nice to just buy the unit and maybe one cup if I had the option, all the other things will get lost in my attic. The one improvement would be more power, while mixing my shakes with as little as one banana the unit slows down, so more power is what I miss. I would buy another, but less gadgets, put one out for the runner who is in a hurry and only needs minimum.
