I bought this at the same time I purchased a new Waring professional blender, so I can accurately compare the replacement to the original and I find them identical. The only surprise in both the original and the replacement when compared to my old Waring model carafe is that the bottom cannot be removed for easier cleaning. br / br /I don't consider this a serious deficiency, as the all glass carafe (except for the blade and shaft on which the blade is mounted)is relatively easy to clean, with no little rubber or plastic nooks and crannies in which food can hide and fester. br / br /Recommended.
