Excellent knife rack November 12, 2008 Larrikin (Texas) This is a high quality well designed item. The wood is very nice and my knives fit it perfectly. I could not be happier with it. No more knives sliding about in the drawer.
Very good for large knives and for steak knives February 22, 2008 ABC (Eureka, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this as well as the Henckel one. It is much easier to get the shorter knives out of this one than out of the Henckel because you can grab the knives more easily. Also, the large knives rest better in this model than in the Henckel one because of the gaps (the Henckel one has a solid, triangular block and the knives have a tendency to wiggle left to right a little.) I think both models are good but I would rather buy this one again.
Does the job February 8, 2008 Leonard Y (Cherry Hill, NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the large and small versions to put in a 25 inch wide drawer for all our knives. Good quality. Good finish. Keeps all knives handy and better than the counter-top knife blocks we were using.
Works prefectly January 27, 2008 Michael I. Taylor (Lake Orion, MI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The tray I received was much lighter than the tray pictured. However, the one I received compliments the color of the inside of the drawer nicely. It's a nice solid well built knife tray. The only problem I've had with it is that it tends to slide towards the back of the drawer when I close the drawer. I'll need to get some rubber feet or put a piece of rubber drawer liner underneath it to keep it from sliding around.
spacing wide January 7, 2008 E. Swenson (California) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The spacing for the large knifes was wider than for the small knifes so they didn't fit as securely. I have a Hinkle holder which I like better. I got this one since it holds a few more knifes. The picture of this knife holder, on website, didn't show from the top, so the spacing didn't appear unusual. The picture is more from the side.
