Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Victorinox, makers of the Original Swiss Army Knife, has been crafting fine cutlery since the late 1800's. Now the Victorinox master cutlers have applied their unique ingenuity and techniques to design the highest quality, forged cutlery line. This fine cutlery is hot-drop hand forged and ice tempered by master forgers in Solingen, Germany exclusively for Victorinox. It is then shipped to Victorinox in Ibach, Switzerland for application of their famous properietary sharp edge and rigid quality control. The result is beautifully balanced, perfectly weighted full tang construction, an intuitively engineered comfortable handle, a high carbon, no stain, high polished foged steel blade with an edge that retains its razor sharpness - and the knives are beautifully designed because Victorinox knows that function and utility alone do not satisfy the heart.Chef's Santoku Knife, Black POM Handle, Solingen, 7-in.

This is one of the better kitchen knife. Defiantly comparable to the Henckel and Wustof knife that I have.
