Small knife comfort, big knife a-- kicker January 7, 2008

Alas, I've misplaced my Case Peanut. In seeking a replacement, I supersized up to the Case Trapper. The Peanut is small and slim enough to travel well in suit pants; the Trapper is strickly a jeans or coat pocket knife. Too much bulk and weight for "business attire." But, this isn't one of those obnoxious monster knives that requires its own attache. Perfect balance. Case's durable (and beautiful) chrome vanadium, and two blades that are actually not duplicative of each other (a clip blade for detail work, and a "spey" blade for neutering your animals, or, for those of us who allow the pros to spey for us, the spey blade is stronger for leverage purposes). I have fallen in love with Case knives and understand that there are thousands of collectors out there - but I enjoy mine by carrying them in my pocket and looking for something to cut. Great for camping, gardening, home-owning, and living.
