 "Safe" is the word April 8, 2008
These work excellent. No problems after 2 years of use. Only slight drawback is that they're a little bulky.

I have used this knife safe on the knife we take traveling for several years. It works extremely well. It opens up relatively easily, and keeps the knife inside where it can do no harm.

These work for me exactly as advertised. They keep your knife "safe" from damage and prevent the knife from damaging other things. A great value and I've used 2 of them over 2 years without any noticable wear.
