Amazon.com Review Quickly reduce a cooked chicken or duck to bite-size pieces with this instrument. Or use it to butcher any kind of meat or poultry. It's heavy, the way a cleaver should be, so it does the work for you. The blade has a hole in its top corner so it may be hung on a hook or peg. Henckels' International Classic is a moderately priced cutlery line made in countries other than the company's home of Germany. The steel is of lesser quality than that used in its premier lines. Also, the handles are narrower and shallower--a feature those with small hands might appreciate. While this cleaver is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended. --Fred Brack
Product Description Meat and poultry can be intimidating. But with the right tools, you can slice right through the whole prep process. Chop through joints and bones in seconds using this board blade with professional-caliber weight and balance. Lifetime warranty.

J.A. Henckels Int'l Classic SS Meat Cleaver August 29, 2008 Richard D. Wilson (Baton Rouge, LA USA) This has what you are looking for at a great price, unless you just want to spend a fortune for the absolute best.
Love it July 21, 2008 ritzy007 (California) Cuts through meat with relative ease. My mother, who is a much better cook than I, somehow got a small cut on her hand. She doesn't even remember how it happened. She is Asian and is accustomed to using a cheapy butcher knife. I have used this to cut through watermelon. I recommend it.
I love it. June 24, 2008 Xiao Xu 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a Chinese. The meat cleaver is my chef's knife. I'm using it everyday, cutting from scallion to pork. I even use it peeling the skins of ginger or potato. It's very comfortable using this knife. I highly recommend it.
Not bad for the money May 21, 2008 RJ (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
For the money it's not bad. Of course you can buy a better steel but this one will do.
Love it! Whether it's meat, veggies, or anything, it will chop right through! March 21, 2008 Alex (Phoenix, AZ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this knife! I use it for vegetables, meat, fruits, basically everything. The weight is just right and easy to clean.
