Product Description Kaiser, the German inventor of the springform pan, brings you this revolutionary designed pan with a leak-proof bottom. Crafted of heavy-gauge steel with a two-layer nonstick coating, the pan bakes up evenly browned cakes, tortes, and cheesecakes. The spring is designed for left- or right-hand users and quickly releases the pan from the perfectly flat base. The base is also cut-resistant so you can bake desserts, then serve them directly off the base.brbrbProduct Features/bbr#149; Heavy-gauge premium steel ensures even bakingbr#149; Double-layer nonstick coating prevents desserts from adhering to panbr#149; Pan's sides spring free from base for easy removable of dessertsbr#149; Durable spring is for left- or right-hand usersbr#149; Save to serve directly off cut-resistant basebr#149; Instruction booklet with cake and cheesecake recipesbr#149; Hand-washing recommendedbr#149; Made in Germanybr#149; 5-year warranty

Best Cheesecake Pan October 18, 2007 Ms Muffet (Florida, USA) I bought this pan to use with my new "Junior's Cheesecake br /Cookbook" and I'm so glad I did. This is a very well-made br /non-stick springform pan which has a unique design that br /prevents it from warping and leaking. The cheesecake br /turned out just like the picture in the book - perfect! br /It's an expensive pan, but quality doesn't come cheap; br /it should last a lifetime. This is a "must have" pan br /for cheesecake and I highly recommend it.
Perfect! April 7, 2007 Karen (Pleasanton, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister in-law. She loves it and says it makes a perfect cheesecake, no leaking and evenly baked.
Only one gripe April 6, 2007 Ray Francis (St. Joseph, MI United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is not recommended for dishwasher. Good shape and easy to extract cheesecakes.
Great Springform Pan March 31, 2007 Lucy N. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using my mom's springform pan for years - but the spring is shot, batter sticks to it and it leaks. The Kaiser is perfect! Last cheesecake I made leaked out of the base, but the rim caught it - no need to place the pan in something else to catch drippings - there are none. It released perfectly...worth the money!
Smaller than stated January 4, 2007 BP (Ojai, CA, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My major disappointment in this springform pan is that the internal diameter is more like 7" rather than 8" which makes a difference in the total volume and thus affects what recipes will work in it. I would have preferred knowing ahead of time that the internal diameter was smaller. The leakproof design is OK but I have only had old springform pans leak.
