Amazon.com Review
Edge stainless-steel cookware combines elegant styling and superb craftsmanship. The rounded silhouette and mirror finish look classically impeccable, and the tri-ply, 18/10 stainless-steel construction with an encapsulated aluminum core heats and cooks beautifully. Edge lives up to its name with a specially shaped rim that prevents sloshing and pours without dripping. In this 17-piece set you'll find three saucepans, holding 2, 4, and 6-1/2 quarts, and two skillets, measuring 8 and 10 inches in diameter. Three lids, also of stainless steel, are interchangeable to help keep clutter to a minimum. The ergonomic, stainless-steel handles feature a silicone grip for comfort and heat-free stovetop cooking, and are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. Also included are a bonus set of five cooking utensils and a ring of four stainless-steel measuring spoons.

Perhaps the most popular endorser and personal user of Edge Cookware is Darren McGrady, the former personal chef of Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth. McGrady has also cooked for four U.S. presidents and more than one hundred kings, queens, and heads of state, and now lives and cooks in Dallas, Texas. He knows cookware inside and out. Edge Cookware comes in a choice of all-stainless-steel or stainless with silicone handles. So attractive you'll want to hang them where they can be admired, both styles are dishwasher-safe and are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

2 out of 5 stars Chinese factory made   May 31, 2008

This would be a nice set to buy if it were "on special" for around $49.95.

Even though they don't state the country of origin, this set is made in China. I paid almost $300 for this set at an "upscale" department store in Texas late last year.

After using them for about six months I can only say that they cook well, but stain and scratch easily. I can only figure that the Chinese have not yet figured out how to produce quality stainless steel.
