I had been holding out on getting a coffee maker, but this one is perfect for me. I can only handle one cup a day, so thats all I need to make. No waste, no mess - really easy clean up! I get it started, do a couple things to get ready - and its there waiting for me! Its great!

I'm glad this is the machine I ended up with after searching online and comparing for days. Very easy to use and the coffee is ready in less than 3 minutes. I would purchase again if this thing died tomorrow....not that I think it will!

I bought this Hamilton Beach Hot Beverage Center to replace my old trusty Krups I have been using for the past 11 years. (A testament to the quality of Krups and to show I do very well in my judgment of quality brands and my purchases.) This time I wanted a coffeemaker with no carafe and that would make me a fresh cup each time or one of the systems that brews a full pot or more at a time, but holds the coffee in a storage medium that would prevent scorching. I looked at coffeemakers for several days and saw many very pricey machines. They were impressive, but the cost was a factor, not to mention some required special coffee cups or pods. The pods or cups are nifty, but I didn`t want to be forced into buying these pods or cups all the time. I came across this machine on my last day of looking over machines and wanting to come to a decision quickly, since my old trusty machine was to the point of making partial pots of coffee, even after cleaning it. I read about all the things this machine could do, including being able to use the little coffee pods if you wished, and I was surprised at the price, considering its versatility. It could be used to heat water for soups, oatmeal's and the like, plus the different coffee mediums (ie. Pods and cups.) that could be used. I was a bit hesitant of this coffeemaker, due to the low price of the unit, after comparing it to its pricey competitors. I was worried it would not live up to the expectations I had built up after shopping the many other fancy models available. This machine pleasantly surprised me! It made a fresh, large cup of coffee within 3 minutes or less. It was easy to use and clean and the design is excellent. Its appearance on the counter looks very clean line and would be hard to identify as a coffeemaker, if you didn't already know that it was. If your looking for the things I was, in shopping for your new coffeemaker, please save yourself sometime and let my search for the perfect coffeemaker be your guide. You just can't beat this price, either.

I will have to qualify this review as someone who drinks mostly k-cups with a Keurig machine at work. This machine gets used very sparingly but when it does it makes a very good cup of copy. So good, I have gotten my mother in law to purchase one and her mother as well. We all love the fact that you can brew one cup of your favorite but vary the flavor of the next cup. Very versatile.
