Hamilton Beach Brew Station September 30, 2008 Bill Rosenberg (Palo Alto, CA) Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffeemaker This drip coffeemaker is excellent. No pot to wash or burn the coffee. Just put your cup underneath and the coffee pours out. The only disadvantage is that the internal tank and coffee basket holder are not dishwasher safe (or so the disclaimer says) They are easy to clean, but still...
My 2nd Hamilton Beach Brew Station September 20, 2008 E. Koeppen My first HB Brew Station was one of the originals and I liked it a lot. When it stopped pumping recently I decided to purchase another one. Because products are constantly being "improved" I was not able to purchase same model. This model is fine. It performs well and makes a great cup of coffee. I think the foot print is larger, I know the water basket is, it is more difficult to handle. I do not like the clear visible water gauge on this model. I fill it with water to measure and pour into water reservoir, when it fills back up with coffee it is difficult to determine where the coffee level is, especially after dispensing a cup(s). Other than these minor inconveniences, I like the Brew station fine and will probably purchase another one when the time comes.
Great coffee pot August 11, 2008 Chicklet (San Francisco) I love this coffee pot. It brews hot, great tasting coffee. I also love that their is no carafe to deal with. It has a nice, modern look that goes well with the other appliances in my kitchen. The only downside is it does take some practice to learn how to pour the water in without spilling it on the counter but it's really not that difficult. I also had the old version (without the stainless steel plate on the front) and it lasted about 4.5 years and made great coffee the whole time.
GREAT COFFEE MAKER! August 9, 2008 Charlotte Iveyelmore (Heber, Utah) This is a terrific coffee maker! We use it every day, and it works great! It's nice not having to clean a carafe. We bought another one for a back-up, but we haven't needed it so far. We're on our fourth year with this one! Clean it out once in a while with some white vinegar, and you'll be pleased at the durability and ease of use.
Excellent coffee machine August 9, 2008 Olin R., Norrid (Amarillo, Texas) This is an excellent coffee machine. We would recomend it to anyone going to buy a coffee pot.
