For coffee at home that tastes as fresh as the neighborhood coffee shop's, try Cuisinart's Automatic Grind Brew coffeemaker. The Grind Brew makes it easy to enjoy fresh coffee with the utmost convenience--ground whole-bean coffee pours directly into the filter basket at a preset time for instant brewing. The maker does all the thinking, with a range of programmable features. You can set the machine to grind and brew at exactly the right time, predetermine the coffee's temperature, and program the machine to turn off a half-hour later.p Other features take the guesswork out of making coffee as well: the flavor setting ensures the optimal amount of water is used for a rich, aromatic taste and no acidity or bitterness, and the large easy-view water window makes sure the right amount of water is added. A self-cleaning feature lets you know when calcium buildup is interfering with the machine's operation; turn on the self-cleaning cycle to make quick work of grime. Daily cleaning of the machine is somewhat involved because all individual parts must be removed, so prepare for slightly longer cleanup in exchange for a savings of time upfront.p Two additional caveats: The grinder is noisy, as most grinders are, and cannot be turned off midgrind. I liked the product and all the functions it should have had, but ours arrived broken. The grinder never worked. I did send it back, but ordered another one. I hope to have more luck second time around.

I have used the Cuisiart Auto Grind Brew for several years. My old one finally bit the dust and I was delighted to find a factory-reconditioned unit for about 1/3 the price of new. It works great. It arrived in like-new condition and I am very pleased with it. I love waking up to the smell of freshly-brewed coffee made from freshly ground beans. It's the best!

The carafe has a plastic ring around top makes it harder to clean, hinge on carafe is cheap, lid falls off easily. Brews good coffee but is difficult to clean a lot of nooks cranies that are hard to get to. br / br /Buying with out seeing sometimes leads to bad choises, would not buy again

The price of the Cusinart Automatic Grind and Brew Coffeemaker was unbelievable, even for a reconditioned model. It works great and I couldn't find the white color anywhere but here.
