nice glasses November 23, 2008 Jack W. Wolfe I needed glasses so I ordered these and they are well made and look nice as for the tags on the bottom I just used my little tourch and my scrapper and it came right off good deal.
These glasses are great October 1, 2008 David Harris (Arnold, MO) Look nice, not to thin but not too heavy, good price, came undamaged, no complaints! One has broken so far, but hey it happens. A dish banged against it in the sink. But great glasses for the price.
Replacement September 16, 2008 Joseph Janoski I was very happy to find this essex/sweetbriar set of tumblers as it matches thoes that I have used for years. Attrition had taken a toll in the various sizes. Now I have a full compliment again. These glasses are substantial and handsome in design. They are indeed very masculine, but attractive enough to impress the ladies. When you hold a drink in these tumblers, you know you are holding something.
excellent everyday glass February 5, 2008 D Bee 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've owned this set of glasses for years and bought a second box to supplement my supply. They are comfortable to grip, survive the dishwasher with ease, are heavy enough not to tip easily, and look great on the table.
Anchor-Hocking 16.5 oz. tumblers September 26, 2007 James R. Gregg (Lancaster, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are the best large glasses I've ever used. We bought a set years ago, and as with everything, their numbers dwindled to two, and I began looking for a place to get another set. I was lucky enough to find them on the internet, and I'm pleased to say they're still made as well as they were when I originally purchased the first set. They are quite heavy, and will crack easily with too fast a change in temperature, but this is a necessary evil, I'm sure, with such large containers. Try 'em, you'll like 'em. 5 stars.
