5 out of 5 stars wundabar!   November 9, 2008

I love this pot. I also bought the Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 3-1/2-Quart Buffet Casserole, Dune. I love the beautiful color, it's just as described, like sand, and it goes very well with all my vintage pieces of other colors. Just as described I use it to make soup and other things and it's heavy, sturdy, cooks evenly and worth every penny. br / br /Le Creu-lovely.

4 out of 5 stars Great pot!   June 16, 2008

I love this pot! I made a roast in it and it was awesome. The best thing was that cleanup was an absolute breeze. The one thing I was a little disappointed about was that the top handle can only sustain temps in the oven up to 375 degrees.

I bought this and ended up returning. It has a very small bottom. I would have liked to brown ingredients first and then add rest and bake. It is just a poor design. Doesn't live up to the wonderful quality that le creuset has.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect size and not too heavy   May 14, 2008

I have tons of Le Creuset but this is one of the best. Some of the other ones I have are a little on the heavy size and get really heavy when I fill them with stew. br / br /It's also great that this one holds just the right amount of food for various common dishes. It holds all my stews, veggies (I make veggies for my baby with this with a little amount of water. I don't lose the vitamins from the veggies this way into the water like I would with the normal veggie boiling process), risotto, pasta... name it, it can be done! br / br /This lime color is beautiful too. It went with my white applicance kitchen and now looks beautiful with my black appliance kitchen. Brightens up the room really well too! br /

5 out of 5 stars Yes, it is heavy, but what did you expect?   March 8, 2008

LOVE this piece. Love all of my Le Creuset pieces. They cook perfectly, the clean even easier. Would totally purchase this again!
