Great Watch; excellent timekeeper and great illumination dial August 15, 2008 M. W. Johnson (Mobile, AL, USA) This was a birthday gift. Once I went through the manual and set everything up, it remains pretty acurate (compass, altimeter, barometer). I have owned it two months and it has not lost one second. I set it to the Atomic Clock and I just went back and checked and it is dead on. It does not seem to stay at a full charge, even after 7-8 hours out in the direct sunlight in the middle of the day on a boat. But it hasn't ever reached the low charge state either. Overall I am extremely happy with this watch. I own Seikos, Heuers, Tag Heuers, and Timex watches. This is the first digital (electronic) watch I have owned and it's a great one.
excellent product August 2, 2008 Leah Langevin Of all the watches i have, this is one of my favorites. It has great features and is well worth the cost.
Swiss Army Knife of Watches April 5, 2008 David H. Johnson (Cody, WY United States) What else could you ask for in a watch. It's just a bit large on the wrist.
My boyfriend LOVES this watch! February 26, 2008 Gwyna Jordan (Denver, CO USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this watch as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and he LOVES IT! If your guy is a gadget-loving dude, you can't go wrong with this watch. The only thing you need to watch out for is the hourly weather reports he recites, the direction of the compass, how far above sea level you are, etc. As for looks, it's very sporty and has a high wrist profile, but is very lightweight due to the titanium band. The band ran a little large, but this was easily remedied with a quick trip to the jeweler to have a couple of links removed. Yes, this watch has a lot of bells and whistles, but use your head and common sense when it comes to the measurements. If you're flying a plane, use the aircraft's altimeter rather than the watch's for specific numbers, and so on. Enjoy!
Great functions, good value, lighter than it looks. February 13, 2008 Kris Tuttle (Boston, MA, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This watch stands out in price/performance terms in this category. I replaced a 5-year old similar Casio model that was all plastic and required a battery. (When you are deep in the mountains batteries are a nuisance.) With solar power the watch is always ready for action. It even conserves power when it sits overnight by turning off the display. All the functions work as documented. One minor feature that is surprisingly useful to me is the time zone change function based on city location. It's much faster and easier to switch as you move around the world. With a titanium band I expect this one to last at least 5 years. Although the watch is large and noticeable it is very lightweight. Expect to get labeled as a bit of a geek if you wear this watch as a day to day timepiece. It's information over style although the looks work for me.
